Product Description

The hydraulic damper makes lowering the heavy tailgate easier. When opening the tailgate, the damper absorbs the downward force, allowing it to glide down slowly rather than dropping quickly.

The Tailgate Damper gives your Ford Ranger a serious and practical benefit, allowing the tailgate to drop in an easy and controlled manner. Open the tailgate with a single hand and watch as it lowers the tailgate gently to its down position.

Ford recommends that you use a qualified technician to fit parts. Damage owing to incorrect fitment is not covered under warranty.

These are products that require specialist knowledge and/or special tools for installation. The products are not intended for self-assembly without this specialist knowledge. If necessary, please contact an authorized Ford service centre or another qualified specialist workshop regarding installation.
